Our History

Integrity, honesty, reliability, and competency are the cornerstones of our success.

Our Firm was originally founded in 1948 by Edward Zeisler. From his downtown San Francisco location, he serviced many of SF's notable individuals, small businesses, and entrepreneurs. In 1985, Zach Zeisler joined his father, and brought with him his knowledge and experience from working with platinum acts in the music industry. Longtime friend and former co-worker, Cheryl Tallman, joined the firm in 1992, and became partner in 2000.

In 1999, David Rawson, who had been working as a business manager in the entertainment industry, teamed up with Zach and Ed, and he became a partner in 2000. In November 1999, the firm headed north to San Rafael to find a larger home. By 2005, Jeff Johnson was added to the partner group and added his diverse background in taxation of professional athletes, banking, and small business accounting.

As the Firm’s growth continued, so did the partnership group. In 2020 Brian Reynolds, who joined the Firm in 2012, became partner.  Brian brings to the firm vast experience in domestic and international touring, royalties and multi-state taxation.  In 2012 Jake Zeisler joined the firm and by 2021 became the third generation Zeisler, continuing in his father and grandfather’s footsteps.

We've assembled a strong team of partners and professional staff with extensive and diverse industry experience, and are proud of the quality of service we offer.
